People Are The How: My PATH
Hello everyone! I’m Emma, and I began at PATH this summer as their Business Development Intern. Currently, I’m a rising junior studying Operations Management at The Fisher College of Business. Outside of my studies, I enjoy being on a dance team, where I serve as Treasurer.
This summer, I was eager to gain hands-on experience that I will be able to utilize for the entirety of my personal and professional life. This internship at PATH gave me the empowering space to display my expertise and make an impact for the company. The partners provide a creative space where I can grow my skills and continuously gain new skills that will be help me for my future endeavors.
I was looking forward to entering the Business Development role at PATH and was not expecting the scope of projects I would be able to partake in during my time here. Despite being a new intern, PATH gave me projects that made an impact. I’m not doing fluff work, instead, I’m tackling projects that are important to the company.
To get a better look at my projects:
- I am implementing a new CRM for client information
- I am creating a sales process to stimulate client growth
- I am conducting research for a competitive analysis
- I will present a sales pitch with fellow interns to the partners
I am positive that PATH has provided me skills and experiences that will help me accomplish the goals that I have set for my career.
